To
provide further incentive to faculty to infuse technology
into their existing courses, mini-grants will be offered
to faculty in the SOE and Colleges of Arts and Sciences
and Communication during each of the summers of the project
period. To obtain a grant, faculty members will be required
to submit a proposal that presents a significant plan for
technology infusion in a course that they teach to future
teachers; demonstrate interest and involvement in technology;
and explain how the revised course models constructivist
teaching and learning principals. Once awarded, the LT consultant
will work closely with the faculty member, his/ her department
chair and, as appropriate, the Assistant Dean of Arts and
Sciences, to monitor the curriculum revision.
