History: Founded in France, 1854, the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart established their United States Province, 1939. They have administered St. Adelaide Church, a predominantly non-Native American parish, in Highland, California, from which they have attended the San Manuel (Serrano) Reservation station, 1989-present.
