History: The Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet were founded in France, ca. 1650. They made their first U.S. foundation, 1836, and engaged in teaching and evangelizing Native Americans through the following provinces:

St. Paul Province, St. Paul, Minnesota

1878-present  

Los Angeles Province, Los Angeles, California
