History: The Franciscan Sisters of the Atonement were founded in New York State, 1909, and have self-identified with the post-nominal initials, “S.A."  They staffed the Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha Center (Ute), Fort Duchesne, Uintah and Ouray Reservation, Utah, 1981-1982.
