St. Anthony Church has been a predominantly non-Native American parish in the Diocese of Charleston (Archives: Charlestown, South Carolina). The parish has had some Native American parishioners (e.g. Catawba, Cherokee), 1970s-present. Native Catholics from throughout the diocese founded and have participated in the Warrior Creek Kateri Circle based at St. Anthony’s, 2015-present.
