About the Funding Information Center

Marquette University's Funding Information Center is one of over 470 partners in Candid's Funding Information Network. The Center has participated as a partner since 1973.

Since its establishment in 1956, Candid (formed by the merger of the Foundation Center and GuideStar) has been the primary source of factual information on private foundations and philanthropy in the United States. Candid, along with its partners, is designed to provide current information for the fund-seeking public and those doing research on private foundations, philanthropy, nonprofit organization and management, volunteerism, fundraising, grantmaking, and letter and proposal writing.  There are other network partners in the state: The Helen Bader Institute for Nonprofit Management in Milwaukee, The Grants Information Collection at UW -Madison, The Foundation Collection at UW-Stevens Point, L. E. Phillips Memorial Public Library in Eau Claire, and The Hedberg Public Library in Janesville.

To visit Marquette's Center you will need to bring a photo id, such as a driver's license or student id, with you to register for a Raynor Library day pass. The Center is free and open to the public.
