How do I apply?
Can my credits from another college or university be transferred?
Only credits directly applicable to a student's Marquette degree program will be considered for transfer. Transfer credits require a grade of C or better from an accredited educational institution with a maximum of 90 transfer credits from one institution. Students are strongly urged to consult their advisors before requesting or taking any course for which they will want to transfer credits.
How can I manage family, work and school?
Based on your schedule, you can take one class at a time or more — weeknights, Saturdays and/or online. Most of our courses are four hours long and meet once a week for eight weeks: on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings or Saturday mornings and afternoons. The majority of our classes are Saturday. The fully online classes are primarily for the leadership and organizations major.
How long will it take to complete my degree?
Students need to complete a minimum of 126 credits. Students' situations, transfer credits, availability to take classes and course scheduling will impact completion timeframes.
CPS offers courses in eight-week formats and sessions five times a year. A student taking two classes each session will receive 30 credits a year, meaning he or she would be done in a little more than four years.
What is the cost of the program?
Please see the current per-credit cost in the undergraduate tuition schedule.
How do I know if financial aid is available?
Visit the financial aid Web site or call (414) 288-4000 or (800) 793-6450.
How soon should I apply?
Applicants should submit their applications no later than two weeks before the beginning of the session in which they want to enroll. Sessions begin in September, November, January, March and May.
After submitting all required applicant information, how long will it take to receive an admission decision?
Generally, you will be notified of a decision two weeks after the college has received all required information.
