University mourns student who passed away in Rome
The thoughts and prayers of the entire Marquette community go out to the friends and family of Andrew Keith Carr, a junior in the College of Business Administration.
In a letter to the campus community, Father Pilarz said, “Andrew’s light only graced this campus for a short time, but his memory will live in his family, his friends and our Marquette community forever.”

Canonization Connection
Raynor Memorial Libraries' Native Catholics Collection was crucial to the canonization of Kateri Tekakwitha — the first Native American to receive the designation of saint. The collection includes more than 50 interviews with Native Catholics devoted to St. Kateri.
