Looking for something to do tonight or this weekend?

The Raynor Reserve and Media Services Desk (on the lower level) houses a collection of more than 3500 DVDs and videos. The collection includes both instructional videos and entertainment films ranging from classics such as "Grapes of Wrath", and "To Kill a Mockingbird" to contemporary films such as "Hot Coffee", and "Dig!"

All DVDs and videos are listed in MARQCAT and MARQCATplus and can be searched by keyword, film title, or by subject. The Libraries also prepare a monthly list of the latest videos received.

Videos can be checked out for a three-day loan period and are subject to fines if returned late.

The libraries have a subscription to Docuseek2 allowing access to over 750 streaming videos on a variety of topics that can be used for instruction or research. A full list of these streaming documentaries is available. You can also browse by subject.

To search for streaming video titles on a specific topic, search the library catalog by going to Advanced Search in MARQCAT, type in a topic, then select STREAMING VIDEO from the Material Type drop down.
